State College, PA – April 12, 2022: USA Bass is excited to announce that Bob’s Machine has become the official Jack Plate of USA Bass. Since 1978, Bob’s Machine has brought innovation to the jack plate market; the first jack plates rated to 600+hp, the first to offer multiple setbacks and the first to offer color options. At Bob’s Machine jack plates aren’t just one of their lines of products, they are the main line. Bob’s Machine jack plates are proudly made in the USA.
“We are very excited to have Bob’s Machine join our group of supporters,” says USA Bass President Mark Schlarb. “Our USA Bass team is hosting the 2022 World Bass Fishing Championship at Lake Murray in Columbia, South Carolina October 16-23. Bob’s Machine understands the importance of international sport fishing and is helping make this event possible.” The USA Bass team will be competing against teams from around the globe including: Italy, South Africa, Australia, South Korea, Spain, Portugal, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic and others. The host community is Capital City Lake Murray Country RTB and anglers will be fishing legendary Lake Murray. The 2022 USA Bass team includes: Team captain Scott Martin, Jacob Wheeler, Scott Canterbury, David Dudley, Fred Roumbanis, James Watson, Mark Rose and David Fritts. They will be coached by Charlie Evans and Anthony Gagliardi. “We are proud to support the USA Bass Team and build bass fishing into a global sport,” says Steven Pelini of Bob’s Machine. “Our jack plates are going to provide a key advantage for the USA Bass team’s quest for the Gold medal.”
